COEXISTENCE

Conceptual Rationale

In 2019, researchers documented for the first time sperm whales sleeping vertically near the ocean surface. That same year, Aleppo lay in ruins. The Methuselah tree has been alive for nearly five thousand years. These are facts. The paintings do not illustrate them — they place them in relation.

The works are not organized around a single reading. They bring together distinct orders that share the same plane without becoming equivalent. Nothing stands in isolation. Each element belongs to a wider field where different forces remain in relation. The work does not dissolve these differences, nor divide them into closed domains.

Different logics coexist without cancelling one another. Animal, vegetal, human, architectural, and atmospheric forms occupy the same space while preserving their own force. The images do not propose rupture as their primary condition. They articulate proximity, correspondence, and tension within a common field.
